OGC Nice Reveal the Price That Clubs Must Pay to Sign Liverpool Target Dalbert

OGC Nice have confirmed that they will only let Brazilian defender Dalbert leave the club if his €30m release clause is met.

The 23-year-old, who is also a target for Internazionale, enjoyed a fine campaign last season which saw him draw interest from a number of top European clubs.

But despite reports claiming the French side would start the bidding for Dalbert at €15m, Nice-Matin claim the defender will only be sold for his release clause.

The French site claim executives from the club told them they won’t budge on their valuation of the player, by saying: “We won’t sell him for less than €30m, which is the sum of his release clause.”

Liverpool may be in the market for a left-back this summer after the versatile James Milner filled in for under-performing Alberto Moreno for the majority of the campaign.

The Spaniard was the subject of an £11m bid from Napoli last month – although the Reds are determined to get at least £15m for the former Sevilla man.

And despite interest from Jurgen Klopp’s side, who have already brought in Mohamed Salah for a club record fee, Dalbert is believed to be pushing for a move to Italian giants Inter.
