Djimsiti: ‘We knew it would be tough’

Berat Djimsiti said Atalanta ‘knew it would be a tough match’ against Inter, after a first half of ‘many duels’.

Both teams wanted to attack and Atalanta came closest to opening the scoring through Duvan Zapata, but Djimsiti was caught in a duel with Romelu Lukaku midway through the first half and was lucky to get back in time to stop the Belgian.

“A lot of duels,” Djimsiti told Sky Sport Italia at half-time. “But we knew it would be a tough match.

“We will have to try to be more attacking, but we know Inter’s defence and they are very strong.”

Djimsiti also had an effort on target, with a good header that was stopped on the line by Marcelo Brozovic.
