The 19-year-old has been the subject of a bid from Juventus, but his agent revealed the Nerazzurri are the third club who have made an official approach
Inter have joined Juventus in the race to sign Gabriel Barbosa, having made an offer for the Santos forward, according to his agent.
The 19-year-old, nicknamed ‘Gabigol’, has been linked with a number of Europe’s biggest clubs – including Barcelona and Juventus – during the transfer window, with the latter having a €20 million offer accepted.
Reports in Brazil suggest Inter’s offer is worth around €25m, and the player’s representative Wagner Ribeiro has confirmed a new bid has been made, revealing a decision will come after his participation in the Olympic Games.
“Inter’s is the third official offer that Santos have received for Gabigol,” he told Lance Net.
