Wolfsburg are prepared to let Luiz Gustavo leave during the January transfer window on a loan agreement that includes an option to buy, according to Sportmediaset.

The Brazilian midfielder has long been linked with a move away from his Bundesliga employers, but has now spent three-and-a-half years with the club.

He could, however, be heading elsewhere in the near future, with there Premier League and Serie A interest in his services.

Everton are keen on a man who has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea in the past, while Juventus and Inter see the 29-year-old as an alternative target to Axel Witsel and Lucas Leiva respectively.
