Agent Graziano Battistini has ‘no doubts’ that Cagliari goalkeeper Alessio Cragno would be ready to play for a ‘great team’.
The goalkeeper continues to impress for the Casteddu and was the talking point after Inter’s 3-1 win at the Sardegna Arena yesterday.
Battistini said Cragno is ‘proud’ to play for the Rossoblu but flattered by the links with giants like Inter.
“Everyone must aim to always improve, and we are talking about a player who already has an important personality and a knowledge of his own means,” Battistini told PassioneInter1908.com.
“Every year he takes one more step in his growth, the bar for Cragno has increased more and more.”
“For him, the Sardinian team are top, he’s proud to be here. The fact that people talk about him as the successor to [Samir] Handanovic is nice.
“I have no doubt that he is ready to defend the goal of a great team. He has the right personality and can handle the pressure.”
