Milan full-back Theo Hernandez and Inter right-back Achraf Hakimi have made big impacts since their moves to Serie A, but who has been the best between the two in 2020-21?
Hakimi impressed everyone at the Nerazzurri during their two matches against Borussia Dortmund in Champions League 2019-20.
The Morocco international was on loan from Real Madrid and after the season, he signed a permanent move to the Giuseppe Meazza last summer.
Inter paid €40m for the 22-year-old, who signed a deal until June 2025, and the pacey wingback has continued to impress in Italy, scoring four goals and assisting another four in his first 14 Serie A games.
Ahead of 2019-20, Milan made a similar investment when they brought in Theo Hernandez from the same Real Madrid.
The French left-back had found himself on the fringes of the Los Blancos starting XI but has been a revelation since his move to the Rossoneri. The 23-year-old has continued to contribute with decisive performances, scoring four times in 13 games, adding three assists in the process.
