Skriniar: ‘Inter must concede less’

Inter defender Milan Skriniar admitted the Nerazzurri must tighten up at the back but claimed ‘we are working and doing the right thing’.

The Beneamata won 6-2 over newly promoted Crotone on Sunday and continue to put pressure on League leaders and local rivals Milan in Serie A.

One point separates the two sides and Skriniar knows Inter must concede less goals but insists Antonio Conte’s men are working in the correct way.

“We are working, we are doing the right things in my opinion,” Skriniar told SportMediaset. “Above all, we try to give continuity to the work and our results.

“Last year we didn’t score many goals, now that we are scoring more, us defenders must concede as few goals as possible.”

Inter have won eight games on the bounce but have only kept two clean sheets in that run, and only three in total of this Serie A campaign.
