Antonio Candreva is set to join Sampdoria on a permanent deal from Inter after today’s 1-1 draw between the Blucerchiati and Benevento.
The former Italy international joined Sampdoria on loan with an option to buy in the summer.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Samp’s option to buy would turn into an obligation to redeem the player if Claudio Ranieri’s side had earned at least one point since the beginning of February 2021.
Sampdoria picked up a 1-1 draw away at Benevento today, therefore they’ll make the winger’s move permanent for €2.5m at the end of the season.
According to Nicolò Schira the Blucerchiati had a similar agreement with Brescia and Empoli.
Therefore, the Serie A side will complete Ernesto Torregrossa’s move for €5.5m and sign Antonino La Gumina permanently for €5m.
