Roma are ready to challenge Inter for Udinese and Argentina international goalkeeper Juan Musso, who would cost at least €20m.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper has impressed in Serie A since his arrival in 2018 and could well move on next summer.
Inter have long been linked with a bid for Musso, but Calciomercato.com point to Roma after Pau Lopez failed to convince.
The asking price is €20m plus performance-related bonuses, while Roma are believed to have lined up a four-year contract worth €1.8m per season.
Unlike Inter, who are waiting for Samir Handanovic to retire, the Giallorossi would give him playing time from the start and are ready to make the deal early.
