Torino coach Davide Nicola has Andrea Belotti back against Inter and warns they ‘have nothing to lose, but we do have an opportunity to gain.’
It kicks off on Sunday at 14.00 GMT.
The COVID outbreak forced two games to be postponed and they were down to the bare bones in a 4-2 defeat to Crotone, but some key players return against the leaders.
“Belotti had one training session, so he returns, while Tomas Rincon is suspended. We want to get back to the form we were in before this happened,” said Nicola in his press conference.
“We have nothing to lose, but we do have an opportunity to gain. It doesn’t matter if we are up against Inter, Sassuolo or Real Madrid. It’s an opportunity to pick up points and we have to stand up for ourselves.
“Inter are a top team coached by Antonio Conte, who I admire a great deal. It’s unlikely Inter drop points, but we want and indeed need them. We have prepared to cause them problems.
“The Nerazzurri aren’t top of the table as a fluke, they earned that position. We must have that extra motivation of facing the top of the class.”
