Kevin De Bruyne praises Romelu Lukak and says Belgium are lucky the Inter striker was given the all-clear to join his national team.
Lukaku has 25 goals in 34 appearances across all competitions with Inter so far this season.
“Romelu is a crucial player for us. It’s always an advantage to have him in the team. He is one of the most complete strikers in Europe,” the Manchester City star said at a press conference.
“His characteristics allow us to perform well. The more players we have available, the more chances we have to start these qualifiers well.”
Lukaku and his fellow Inter internationalshave been allowed to join their national teams by Milan’s local health authority.
Four Inter players tested positive last week, and their game against Sassuolo was postponed, with all the activities suspended for a few days.
“Luckily, he joined us after what happened at Inter. We are happier and more self-confident with him by our side,” De Bruyne concluded.
