Chelsea are reportedly interested in bringing Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge and could offer Inter around €105m for the striker.
Lukaku moved to Chelsea from RSC Anderlecth in August 2011, but was loaned out to West Brom and Everton before moving on a permanent deal to the Toffees in July 2014.
The Sun reports the Blues want to buy back the former Manchester United striker, who has excelled under Antonio Conte’s reign at Inter.
Lukaku moved to Inter for a reported €74m in August 2019 and has since scored 61 goals in 91 competitive games with the Nerazzurri.
The 27-year-old’s goals helped Inter to second in Serie A and the Europa League Final last term, and the Nerazzurri are closing in on the Scudetto this term.
Timo Werner has failed to convince in his first year in London and Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland seems to be out of reach for Chelsea.
The newspaper claims the Blues are thus prepared to offer £90m (just under €105m) for the Belgium international’s return to Stamford Bridge.
